In this program
you will be able to appreciate the architecture of the inca city of
Cusco, the temple of the sun or Qorikancha, our majestic Cathedral
and its archeological groups nearby, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo,
Pukapukara, Tambomachay, as well as the ones located in the Sacred
Valley of the Incas , Pisaq, Ollantaytambo y Chincheros, crossing
the differente communities, several of which still count with
customs and ways of life typical of the zone, the same in terms of
economical activity (trueque) as farming, breeding, apparel,
language and other aspects that outstands as part of the cultural
patrimony of the andean culture.,you will enjoy besides of a
complete day of trip to Machupicchu, gorgeous work of the inca
architecture; the circuit is full of natural attractions that grant
the visitor a single sensation of adventure in direct contact with
nature.
DESCRIPTION
Day 1 : ARRIVAL
TO CUSCO + VISIT OF THE CITY:
Asistance at your
arrival to Cusco and transfer to the selected hotel. Free time for
resting and become acclimatated to the height.At the afternoon, tour
in the city of Cusco. Visiting the Main Plaza, the Cathedral and the
Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha; then we direct towards Saqsayhuaman
(The Real House of the Sun). Into this great complex, are located
other archeological complexes as Qenqo (Center of astronomica
observation); temple dedicated to the earth, Pukapukara (military
center, administrative and of watching), its function was the
control of the Inca Road. Tambomachay (Temple of the water and baths
of the inca),that was a center of workship and shrine for the water.
Then return to your hostage. Overnight.
Day 2 : TRIP TO
THE SACRED VALLEY
Tour to the
Sacred valleyof the Incas, over the Vilcanota River, where you will
appreciate the typical indian market that takes plac on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Sundays, you will be a participant of the customs of
its settlers in the typical market (On Sundays the Mass in Quechua
is celebratd, native language). Lunch ina a local restaurante of the
valley. In the afternoon we go through Calca and Urubamba on a way
to the Fortress and Citadel of e Ollantaytambo, constructed to care
for the entrance of the valley and to protect it from possible
invassions of settlers of the jungle it is constituted by a series
of terraces overput, visiting during the journey of return to the
town of Chinchero (town of the rainbow), it was a center of farming
with terraces ofcrops and containing ones. Transfer to the hostage
and overnight.
Day 3 : MACHU
PICCHU
Early at the
morning, transfer to the train station of Cusco for a trip of three
hours and a half towards the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the
most renamed examples of the inca architecture, known as the Lost
Cityof theIncas.", descend from the train in the station of Aguas
Calientes to take the bus that will take us in as trip of 30 minutes
by a zigzaging road towards the marvelous citadel. At the arrival,
guided tour of the citadel during 2 hours, free time for a second
tour or session of ´photos. At the afternoon descending in bus
towards the train station of Aguas Calientes. Return by train to the
city of Cusco, transfer to your hostage and overnight. End of the
tour.
Day 4 : FAREWELL
After the
breakfast in the hotel, we will transfer you to the airport or to
the bus station so that the customer continues with its trip by our
country.
